Mission accomplished... we calculated the sample mean (no asymptotic and no permutation), for 10 times, of 100 realizations from a normal distribution with mean $\mu=i$, for $i=1,\dots,10$. All this work have been done with Vic3, who is the super belgian big brother of Calculus!!!

Therefore we did this almost impossible mission after 4 normal + 2 heavy beers.


And Checca is learning Linux: I know cp, less, rm, ls, mk dir, and I use a lot the tab.

n=16, test for the comparison between two nested models. Look at the plot of two (only one is the true one!) null distributions of the same test statistic:
Would you trust more in the asymptotic distribution of the test statistic (in red) or in the other one (in black). The answer to this question is quite important, since the observed test statistic takes a particular value (green vertical line) which makes the asymptotic and the exact p-values to be very different.
